Performance art in Poland has a fascinating, strong, continuous tradition. During half a century of turbulent political and cultural history, performance art in Poland has always been present, challenging, thought-inspiring and filled with energy. Today PALS presents a new generation of polish artists who have already conquered their own definition of what performance art is.

Konrad Juściński - explores a specific state of equilibrium called by the artist as a "safe place", a continuous pursuit between optimization and change.

Agnieszka Szablikowska - curator of Galeria Raczej. Reflecition on curatorial practice in performance art. The lecture will present a subjective history of polish performance art scene, with references to the activities of Raczej Gallery in Poznan/Poland.

Performancekonst i Polen har en fascinerande stark kontinuerlig tradition. Under ett halvt sekel av turbulent politisk och kulturell historia har performancekonsten i Polen hela tiden varit närvarande, utmanande, tankeväckande och fylld av energi. Idag presenterar PALS en ny generation av polska konstnärer som redan erövrat sin egen definition av vad performancekonst är.
